PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Purchaser Intern will insert, update, and maintain accurate data on company systems. He/she works closely with the colleagues of the Purchasing Team.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSAMPLES: Contact Vendors to give instruction on how to manage POs issued (grid + instructions). PO follow-up: ensure SMS are delivered on time and in the right quantity. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistic Dept.Shipping approval: Commercial Invoice approval.BULK PRODUCTION: Purchase Orders issuing and updating (factory & main lines). Follow up: production delivery in order to achieve timely delivery. Booking + shipping + commercial Invoice approval. FOB cost plant updating based on Sourcing confirmation. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistic Dept.GENERAL ACTIVITIES:Data system maintenance and updating.
