Although most of its students are pre-med, it also has some programs for public health students, such as this one. What's an Atlantis Public Health Program? A few weeks full time over summer break Real, meaningful public health experience Includes housing, some meals, insurance, excursions, etc. This full merit scholarship opportunity is specifically for our Italy program: Lombardy (Italy) Health Agency Project: Our Varese, Italy program, in the Lombardy Region, partners with a regional health agency, ATS Insurbia , which is tasked with identifying and planning for the needs of citizens in its territory by fostering the integration of healthcare services into the region. This is done through facilitating contracts with public and private service providers and ensuring achievement of objectives set forth in a socio-health plan. All public health projects are led by an experienced consultant. The project lead will guide participants through the entire project and coordinate interactions with the host organization. Who is this for? This is for undergraduates or those that have graduated college in the last 3 years (regardless of whether they are in a public health graduate program or not) in US or Canadian universities that are very interested in a public health career. Full Merit Scholarship: Atlantis is normally a program students pay for that combines an amazing consulting experience with a trip to an exciting city. However, this opportunity is for a full merit scholarship and only offered to particularly talented students who exclusively apply via Handshake. What's Included: 20 hours/week of being mentored by an elite tier consultant Project Lead for an elite brand, housing, some meals, transportation, travel health insurance, and more. Dates: 1-3 week program during Summer 2024, in Varese (Lombardy), Italy; in some cases we may be able to consider our full merit program recipients for other programs and dates.
