You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA , Italy.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Manages the public affairs program for the command, providing public affairs guidance, to include creation or supervision of products generated as a part of the program; Responsible for exercising technical direction over the public affairs program; Advises leadership and director on policies and/or procedures designed to stimulate goodwill and foster good community relations, as well as counsel to others directly involved with activity operations related to the command's programs with potential media interest; Develops and/or coordinates special programs, events, ceremonies, including publicity, pamphlets, brochures, exhibits, and news coverage; Advises directors and others directly involved with activity operations on handling problems related to the command's programs with potential media interest; Writes articles and speeches for the commanding officer; Prepares and publishes organizational publications to keep all internal personnel informed on programs, activities, and career information.
