This includes value proposition, strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification and risk management.
What are the day to day duties?Work with the Sales team to develop a strategy to WINReview specifications and customer supplied documentationUnderstand the project requirements and assess against the winning strategyWork with the Process Engineering Team to understand, support and finalize the design of various flowsheet processes to solve water treatment problems for our Customers, ensuring alignment with the bid strategyDevelop P&ID, drawings, and documents to complete the proposal submission and engage any support teams requiredTake accountability for the development and consolidation of the budgetUtilise the relevant Costing toolsDrive smart cost optimization and overall competitiveness Develop commercial proposals and technical supporting documentationRemain in the project until contract signature and hand over to the execution team Work with a multidisciplinary teams such as Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Tax and Legal - to develop technically solid and competitive proposals Work with the Contracts Team for review of Commercial Terms & Conditions and any negotiation support requiredProactively communicate with Customers during all steps of the commercial developmentEnsure all proposal records, Salesforce, etc are completed and updated Facilitate and communicate Lessons Learned to improve quality in future proposalsQualificationsWhat skills and background will you likely have?Masters degree in engineering or time servedSolid relevant experience in sales and commercial positions in industrial company.
Proposal Management experience in international industrial and municipal B2B transactions with a heavy technology or services component.
