Job DescriptionThe Proposal Manager will primarily be responsible for writing/preparing proposals for Geophysical projects worldwide whilst maintaining excellent relationships with clients through responding to enquiries, active follow-ups and identifying opportunities for Fugro.Fugro is recruiting for a Proposal Manager to join our commercial department based at our office in Rome.The Marine Geophysics team specializes in marine renewables, cables, engineering and infrastructures, and oil gas projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain exposure to a variety of projects, working in a range of markets and apply your technical knowledge and understanding to the commercial world.Your key responsibilities will include:Review of client provided Invitations to Tender and using your technical and commercial knowledge to plan surveys by engaging relevant internal/external stakeholders.Deliver proposals on time and to a high standard of quality whilst maintaining a focus on providing a solution that meets our client's needs.Manage all aspects of developing proposals and responses to client requests, including the proposal management team and Proposal Approval Process, which requires presentations to be made to senior management.The job is for you if:You would like to work within a multinational company with the option to travel and work with colleagues worldwide.You would like to be part of some of the largest offshore engineering projects in the world, including world-leading offshore wind projects.You would like to work in a dynamic and ambitious team with opportunities to develop new skills.Who you'll be working with:You will be working closely with the Commercial Manager to discuss ongoing tenders and review new opportunities, as well as the project and technical team to seek support and input for tenders.
Building a relationship with the other commercial teams within Fugro is essential in ensuring the best commercial strategies for each bid.Who we're looking for:A minimum bachelor in Survey, Geology, Geophysics or related disciplines.Experience on projects encompassing any of the relevant survey disciplines used in offshore geophysical, geological, geotechnical or environmental survey work.A minimum of 2 years experience in the role is a plus.Capabilities to anticipate problems, ensure early intervention and deal with deadlines.Excellent influencing and team communication skills, striving for positive outcomes and ability to work in a team.Fluent in English (minimum B2).What we offer:Fugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds.
