THE ROLE Improve alignment of costs and methodologies between tender and project stagesSupport processes of pre-contract agreement for surveyImprove outcome of engineering deliverablesSupport the Proposal Lead Installation Survey Engineer in the activities both at tender and project stages listed below:Cooperation and co-responsibility on the results of the activities carried out by Proposal Installation Engineers:Survey proposalsCritical analysis of received offers from survey subcontractors: SOW alignment, Costs, Qualifications, Benchmarking with other tenders/projects and in-house solutionsImprove knowledge of known Survey Companies and assistance in scouting for new SubcontractorsEngineeringData analysisRoute engineeringAssessment on suitable burial toolsBASBurial tools speed evaluation based on track records and/or numerical analysisPreparation and updates of future survey activities planning showing time, clashes, workload, etc.Preparation of details survey specs for purchasing use up to the award of the subcontractManaging and devolvement of engineering software's: AutoCad, GIS Online, Makai, WOW software, etc.If needed and agreed by the inline manager, engineering in execution phase (route engineering, data analysis, BAS, etc.
)BASIC REQUIREMENTSDegree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.Fluent in English, written and spokenCurious and eager to quickly learn and get involved to improve autonomyPrecise, proactive, problem solving and target orientedCapacity to understand and conceptualizes complexity into concise frameworksPragmatic, flexible, capable to set and to handle and adapt to the priorities.Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the workGood relationship approach and team working capabilityKnowledge of GIS systemsKnowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and in the use of the Web.Availability to short but possibly frequent trips, domestic and abroadIn case of experienced candidate, at least fulfilling one of the requirements below in the added-value requirements listPOSSIBLE ADDED-VALUE REQUIREMENTSExperience in same or similar role and areaKnowledge of / experience in the submarine survey world coming from operative or engineering rolesYour application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
