Proposal & Estimation Specialist We have an opportunity for an Proposal & Estimation Specialist to join us at Honeywell.
You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects. You will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's growth and profitability by providing expert-level guidance in cost analysis, bid strategy, and risk assessment.
In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by developing precise and competitive cost estimates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, analyze project plans and specifications, and identify potential risks. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure the competitiveness and profitability of our bids.
This is an office-based role and our hybrid policy will be applied (on a weekly basis, 3 days onsite + 2 days remote) Key Requirements Lead and manage the estimation process for projects, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop cost estimatesAnalyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify potential risksPrepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costsReview and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracyControl pricing within published guidelines and handle all requests for discounts.
