This casual role will be called upon to provide coverage for the team when they are on leave, as well as provide additional resource for ongoing maintenance and projects that our Properties team is undertaking. The properties team generally work Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm/4.30pm.
Desired Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in property/building/grounds maintenance, painting, waste disposal is essential;A trade background is desirable;Previous aged care experience is desirable;Ability to understand air conditioning and plumbing particulars is desirable;Demonstrated experience coordinating external contractors;Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team;Ability to be organised and an eye for detail;Australian Driver's Licence;A current National Police Certificate (no older than six months),Current Flu and Covid-19 Vaccination, andPermanent Australian working rights are essential requirements for this position.All applications must be received by 9:00am Tuesday, 24 September 2024.
