The Project Portfolio Specialist reports to the Project Portfolio Manager.
The purpose of this position is to define and maintain standards and procedures for project management within the organization, providing documentation, guidance, and metrics on the execution of project management activities, in accordance with company standards and procedures.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Creates, maintains, and monitors project management reports
Supports in developing, establishing, and maintaining project management standards and procedures
Tracks project status and implementation progress
Assesses portfolio performance and suggests methods for improvement
Guarantees that projects run smoothly by tracking their implementation and timely communicating the status to the Project Management team
Reviews and analyzes projects once completed, in order to assess any over budget, over time and areas of improvement
Supports in the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
Supports in tracking KPI's & statistics to supervise the quality and the efficiency of project execution, with continuous improvement as ultimate goal
Supports in tracking project budget

**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or Economics
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company
