- new_cleo is the clean and safe nuclear technology company.
Privately funded and headquartered in London, UK, newcleo was launched in 2021 to be a disruptor in the field of nuclear energy.
Its mission is to generate safe, clean and inexhaustible energy for the world, through a radically innovative combination of existing, accessible technologies.
- new_cleo is building the next generation system with the goals to: (1) eliminate the need for geological repositories by using a fast neutron flux avoiding production of long life radioactive elements; (2) develop an Accelerator Driven System (ADS), based on the intrinsically safe coupling of a particle accelerator and a sub-critical reactor; (3) accelerate the development of new fuel cycles, including thorium, that provide economic, clean, safe and inexhaustible energy from nuclei and the opportunity to burn the long-lived nuclear waste produced by the old generation of nuclear reactors.

To develop a new, sustainable, and completely safe way of generating nuclear energy that will lead humanity to zero emissions, and to the mitigation of global warming.This is a role within the _new_cleo's program management team, reporting to Program Manager Director and based in Turin.
The role holder will work closely with the Executives and the Scientific Team in order to build, create and optimize the project planning.
He/She will be in charge of regulary reporting EVM project variance indicators of all the projects of _new_cleo program using Project Management software, ensuring that information, procedures and decisions are appropriately documented.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Identify the main activities, their sub activities, their duration, and relations needed to build a project planning, collect cost estimates and integrate actual costs
- Consolidate the planning, optimise it and regularly report its advancement
- Build an Earned Value Management structure, attribute costs and weights and regularly report its schedule and cost variances
- Organise internal meetings with the project colleagues to track advancements
- Providing high level reporting on projects advancement
**Desired Qualifications**:
- MSc degree in Engineering, Phd Degree is an asset
- Spoken and written English; ability to understand and speak the Italian in professional contexts or engagement to learn it fast; ability to draw up technical specifications and to make oral presentations in English.
- At least five years of experience in the definition, and management of complex planning for the design and construction of industrial systems
- At least three years of theoretical knowledge and demonstrated experience in EVM management system, a detailed description of one EVM implementation will be requested.
- Ability to participate use standard Project Management tools (like MS Project or Oracle Primavera)
