Accountabilities: Accountability for the delivery of the project, meeting contractual requirements and delivering on budget, on quality and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager is therefore ultimately accountable for Project profit and loss.
The Project Manager ensures that the project risks are correctly identified and managed.
With the support of the Risk Manager, the Project Manager manages the periodical update of the project risks in accordance with internal risk management procedures and proposes to top management the contingency strategy.
The Project Manager manages the evaluation and the allocation of project risk contingencies as needed and agreed with Team Members.
The utilisation of contingencies is authorised by the Project Manager with the support of the Project Controller.
The Project Manager is responsible for the relationship with the Customer, being its direct interface for all aspects related to the management of the project.
Any direct contact between the Project Team Members and the Customer must be coordinated by the Project Manager.
The Project Manager coordinates the Deputy Project Manager and Project Assistant during the execution of the project.
Among Project Manager key activities and accountabilities:
Approve the master schedule and the second level schedule issued by the Project Planner; Authorize any change to the project baseline that has an impact on product costs, schedule, contractual obligations; Manage requests for variation from the customer, from offer preparation to its negotiation with the customer; Approve sub-contracts / Letter of Intent relevant to Key Sub-Supplies and to RSBU Legal Entities before their signature in order to ensure that they are in line with the project budget, schedule and contractual requirements; Manage the Project Monthly and Quarterly Progress Reports and Meetings including the economic and financial progress reports issued by Project Controller; Approve and manage any type of communications related to the project toward the customer; Manage and validate the invoicing plan; Manage the delivery of products to customer; Lead the Project Team.
Required Skills/Knowledge: Proven 10+ working experience in project management in a complex multinational organization; Excellent team working attitude; Demonstrate the ability to develop strong, constructive and focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; A high level of competence with Microsoft Office, excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills; Project Management Professional (PMP or IPMA) certification is a plus.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in appropriate field (Engineering).
Languages:
English (level C1 certificate or more).
