YOU ACT Official point of contact with the customer and contract partners in all matters (technical and commercial), and to that end also handles communications (according to the assignment to the role, always in close cooperation with the Contract Manager/Technical Manager). Authorized for the project in the role of an "entrepreneur inside the company". Bears overarching responsibility for compliance with schedule, quality, cost and budget objectives, and for customer satisfaction. Responsible for management of the entire project team. Accountable for the preparation and updating of the overall time schedule. Responsible for compliance with scheduled deadlines, cost and performance targets (implementation of the contract provisions and technical specifications) of the project (responsibility for results, project controlling KPIs) in accordance with the customer contract and SMS requirements; responsible for reporting on internal and external environments in relation to non-conformity, and prompt notification in order to avoid escalation. Prepare MIKA (with cost to end view) in terms of cost planning/cost control, forecasting and risk assessment together with Contract Manager in the defined controlling cycle. Coordination and safeguarding of the provision of resources in the line departments in consultation with the line managers and/or the Project Owner. Shaping of customer relations, coordination, reporting, progress reports and communication with the customer in relation to the customer contract. Shaping of relations with key stakeholders (information and communication), compliance with in-house standards for reporting, scheduling and cost controlling, duty of information and reporting to the Project Owner. Prepares for and participates in Steering Board Meetings in compliance with Project Governance Guideline. Active project control (e.g. application of the Quality Gates method/PM-MS). Input/safeguarding of information transfer of Lessons Learned to the Project Owner. Compliance with and safeguarding of project management standards and all requirements of the applicable SMS Project Management Directive. YOU KNOW A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and/or a completed apprenticeship and several years of professional experience in the field of Project Management. Good written and spoken English. Willingness to travel worldwide. Confident handling of MS Office and Project or similar tool.
