Job Description AECOM Buildings + Places is actively seeking a highly organized Project Manager to be based in Firenze.
As a Project Manager, you will be joining a highly motivated and proactive team, working on multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies, with the potential to grow and thrive. Managing diverse projects will provide you with the opportunity to learn from professionals from different fields of expertise, acquiring general knowledge of the design and construction process.
You will get an overview of the complete project life cycle, from early proposal stages, throughout the project planning, setup, execution, and up to project closure.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Managing multiple projects of various complexities, working with international delivery teams.Information and document management, and organization of deliveries.Client interface, preparation of presentations, and coordination and setup of meetings, agendas, and meeting minutes.Project performance control and production of project control documentation: risk assessment, schedules, financial control, list of deliverables, reports, etc.Quality control of deliverables, and coordination of project quality control processes.Stakeholder management, including internal stakeholders and assisting the Design Manager with general coordination of the delivery team.Coordinate and manage project subcontractors, including procurement.General assistance in business development tasks, including preparation of proposal bid documentation.Qualifications University Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction fields.
Fluency in Italian and English (oral and written) is essential. Proficiency in other European languages will be a plus.
Some previous experience (+5 years) in a similar role with an architecture, engineering, or construction planning background.
Demonstrate initiative, foresight, and sound judgment in solving challenges.Be a team player and able to work with different stakeholders: teams, clients, sub-consultants, and vendors.Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask, overseeing several projects simultaneously.Be highly motivated, and willing to both learn and propose.Excellent communication, presentation, and general interpersonal skills.Have worked within a BIM environment.Be an advanced user of Microsoft Office software, MS Project preferred.Be open to travel for work.We will encourage you to grow and develop your career with us through our technical and professional development programs and diverse career opportunities.
