The main goal of the Project Development teams is to develop renewable energy projects in the market where they operate, building up a pipeline to be constructed or divested.You will be part of a smaller Project Development team working with the Italian market, consisting of 12 colleagues; five based in Copenhagen, Denmark and seven based in Milan, where you will also be located.Your new roleAs our new Project Manager, you are responsible for wind and solar PV projects in Italy during the development phase, from origination (internal project development) or screening (project acquisition) to financial close and handover to the EPC Project Manager.
You will also take part in scouting for suitable land for future projects.Key responsibilities include:You are responsible for project management of our Italian projects.You conduct techno-economical risk assessment and evaluate the project's economic viability and investment potential for internal project approval process.You prepare presentations and financial modelling.You coordinate and negotiate project contracts (land, development, etc.)
with the support of our legal team.You coordinate the permitting process with the support of the EPC team.You are responsible for keeping the project data room updated, prepare, and monitor the project time schedule and track the project costs vs. budget.To thrive in this position, we imagineYou hold a bachelor's or master's degree at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, economics, etc.You have at least 5 years' work experience from a similar role.You have experience with the wind and solar PV energy industry in Italy, preferably during the development phase.You have a PMI project management certificate or similar.You are fluent in Italian and proficient in English at a professional level.We offerYou will join a small but highly motivated team, and be part of the growth and development of European Energy's pipeline in Italy.You will be part of a rapidly growing international company at the core of the green transition.The possibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment where gaining hands-on experience is encouraged, while at the same time, new ideas and proactivity are valued.We make an effort to welcome you as our new colleague.
