RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Manager - Energy Smart Management and Climate Neutrality to join its office in Genoa or Milan, Italy within the Energy Innovation Division.
Mission
This role focuses on the project & proposal management of international R&D projects, focused on sustainability and decarbonization of the built environment, smart energy management and climate change adaptation at rural and urban levels.
Key Accountabilities
Manage EU R&D projects in the field of sustainability, decarbonization, and climate adaptation of the built environment in urban and rural contexts, including the implementation of building energy efficiency measures, smart energy management systems, positive energy districts, and the New European Bauhaus framework.
Develop and manage EU R&D proposals in the same fields listed concerning R&D project management.
Develop and manage the network of international partners of the EU project.
Scout Funded and Tendered opportunities in the field of Energy efficiency.
Contribute to RINA's activities of technical development in the framework of EU-funded projects also interacting with international partners.
Contribute to or deliver reports and results on European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, decarbonization, and climate mitigation and adaptation.
Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes.
Contribute to the growth of RINA's network of R&D partners in the field of energy transition and climate mitigation and adaptation.
Qualifications
Degree in Energy/Building engineering or Architecture, with a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings and/or on built environment climate mitigation/adaptation strategies. Preferably at least 3 years of related work experience, fluency in English and Italian, and capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results.
Education
Doctorate/PHD, Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
