Descrizione Offerta The Technical Engineering division of Randstad Professionals, specialized in the search and selection of middle, senior and top management profiles, on behalf of an important client company in the province of Trieste, part of a multinational group in the port sector, is looking for a: PROJECT MANAGER - CIVIL ENGINEER.
(S)he will play a critical role within the Asset team.
The Civil Engineer manages the design development and the construction of the civil assets and works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of assets.
Specifically, (s)he will be responsible for: Manage design/design office for the terminal expansion; Carry out technical and feasibility studies: preliminary, detailed and execution design, including preparation and submission of bill of quantities and pricing schedules for structures and services; Develop construction projects from design up to construction and delivery to the operational team; Ensure all safety standards are followed, both in design and in execution; Weekly and monthly report including timeline and cost forecasts; Optimize civil/construction projects in terms of planning, execution and cost control; Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data/reports; Regularly update construction schedule with project control team highlighting potential criticalities in the works execution; Identify and prevent potential breaches of the agreement for construction and supply contracts; Manage the collaboration with numerous internal and external providers and stakeholders (including Public Authorities if required); Supervise on-site activities related to civil/construction with reference to production, quality and safety; Adhere to the guidelines regarding procurement, compliance, documentation, etc.
; Accurate filing of technical documentation, structured approach in collaboration with the Document Controller; Comply with all the safety and security rules and regulations, lead by example; Support the department and business unit where required; Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies compliance guidelines; Actively report improvement opportunities to direct reports.

Specifically, the ideal candidate has accrued the following characteristics: Degree in Civil Engineering with Civil Engineer license; Experience (3 - 5 years) with formal/technical documents regulatory (permit) approvals; Experience (5+ years) in civil engineering (design, implementation, supervision, etc.)
with projects exceeding €50 Million; Experience in design, implementation and supervision of civil assets; Good English and Italian (German is a plus); Very good command of AutoCAD; Thorough understanding of civil safety guidelines and international practices; Able to multi-task several ongoing construction projects; Professional with a hands-on mentality, task-oriented attitude in order to meet the expected project milestones; Flexible approach with desire to challenge tasks; Experience in supervising construction projects; Ability to network and manage across internal and external technical offices; Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders; The role requires a pro-active approach and problem-solving in coordination with internal and external stakeholders; the ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to relocate to Trieste on short notice.
The position is available in Trieste.
