GENERAL OBJECTIVE: A.R.S. Progetti, Ambiente Risorse e Sviluppo (Environment, Resources and Development) is a consulting firm working globally in the areas of Culture, Governance and Human Rights, natural resources, physical planning, and infrastructure engineering. Established in '92, ARS Progetti has inherited a professional tradition dating back to the 70s, emphasizing people's cultural specificity as an asset for development. ARS Progetti has been a framework contractor for DEVCO/EU for over 20 years.
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLICATION SERVICES AND EXPECTED RESULTS: Business Development: Monitoring international calls for tenders, preparing Expressions of Interest, and assisting in bid preparation for International Donors (EU, WB, UNESCO, etc.), particularly in Developing and Emerging Countries. Project Management: Monitoring budget, resources, and schedule; managing contracts with clients and experts; organizing field missions; coordinating and providing backstopping support to international experts. Provide specific expertise in projects where professional experience is compatible. QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Political Science, Social Science, Law, or Economics; a second-level Master's in International Cooperation or similar is a plus. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management, business development, and preparing calls for tenders for International Donors (EU, WB, UN) in areas of Institutional Strengthening, Governance, Justice and Human Rights, and Social and Economic Development projects. Excellent knowledge of main software applications. Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; spoken Italian is requested for non-Italians. Excellent ability to write and edit reports or other written materials. Experience working abroad in countries benefiting from international public aid is a plus.
