The position is based in Pistoia, Italy.AccountabilitiesThe Project Manager Associate supports the Senior PM to execute the delivery of the project, meeting contractual requirements and delivering on budget, on quality and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager Associate supports the Project Manager with the periodical update of the project risks in accordance with internal risk management procedures and proposes to top management the contingency strategy.
The Project Manager Associate manages the evaluation and the allocation of project risk contingencies as needed and agreed with Team Members reporting periodically the status of the risks and opportunities of the project to the Project Manager.
The Project Manager Associate manages the internal communication within the Project Teams and supports the Project Manager for the relationship with the Customer.Among Project Manager Associate key activities and accountabilities:Review the master schedule and the second level schedule issued by the Project Planner supporting the Project Manager in the approval processSupport the Project Manager in the process to authorize any change to the project baseline that has an impact on product costs, schedule, contractual obligations;Support the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project Monthly and Quarterly Progress Reports and Meetings including the economic and financial progress reports issued by Project ControllerManage the communication plan related to the project toward the customer.Manage the invoicing plan approved by the Project ManagerCoordinate the Project Team and support the Project Manager in the delivery of products to customer.Required Skills/KnowledgeFrom 3 years up to 5 years working experience in project management in a complex multinational organizationExcellent team working attitudeDemonstrate the ability to develop strong, constructive and focused relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skillsAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA high level of competence with Microsoft Office, excellent PowerPoint and Excel skillsExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsEducation/QualificationsBachelor's degree in appropriate field (Engineer).LanguagesEnglish (level C1 certificate or more).We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.It is our commitment at Hitachi Rail to create a diverse environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
