Center for Sustainable Future Technologies at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), is seeking to appoint a Scientific Project Manager that will have a key role on planning, managing, monitoring and implementing the activities necessary for the successful completion of a large-scale project where IIT is the Coordinator.
The candidate will carry out the activity within COSyET Innovation Technological infrastructure Project. The Project aims at creating an infrastructure for the medium to high TRL development of technologies for the energy transition. The ultimate goal of the project is the technological transfer from applied research at the lab scale to pre-industrial scale.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support the scientific management team in coordinating the consortium, controlling the overall workplan and monitoring its proper implementation of deliverables, milestones and workflow, according to the project plans.Support the scientific management team to design operative plan and tasks of the project, its implementation and accomplishments according to the Technical Annex.Monitor the scientific, technical and financial advancement and, if necessary, supporting the scientific management team to adopt corrective measures, if necessary.Collect, reviewing and submitting technical and financial reports, other deliverables (including financial statements) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority.Prepare the meetings, (proposing decisions and preparing the agenda, preparing the minutes of the meetings) and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings.Supervise and managing of communication and dissemination activities.Supervise and managing of exploitation plan and activities foreseen.
