For an international client in the Aerospace, Defense, Transportation and Security sectors, Specialisterne Italia is searching for a Project Manager to join the team.
The Project Manager will manage a project relevant to Security, Communication, IT and Integration of civil infrastructures, as well as security and operations management solutions and software products, assuring the achievement of all and each objective (technical, operational, economic, Financial and business-wise) within the defined schedule and budget and with expected level quality and safety, leading and managing the execution and implementation of the projects vis-à-vis with the Customer(s) and in strict coordination with the Company Functions.
Responsibilities: Manage the project to achieve the targets, Customer satisfaction and Employer satisfaction and profitability. Responsible for correct managing the Project, ensuring the predefined results on time and within budget and with expected level of Quality. Ensure full compliance with Safety Requirements and full implementation of the Safety Plan throughout the project in close cooperation with the Safety Manager. Accountable for the project profitability, sales and costs. Plan and coordinate, interfacing with the team members and the company functions, activities and resources of the project for the fulfillment of the project objectives (contract milestones). Manage the contractual terms of the project. Supervise and control the production / product integration of project-related systems, which includes the entire supply chain of the specific activities of the project and its products, interfacing with suppliers and engineering. Check the progress of the project activities, with reference to the planned timetable. Monthly monitor the profit of the project, identify and implement (and/or assure the implementation) of the necessary action plans to maximize the profit. Supervise and coordinate the System Engineer and Customer Service during the commissioning phases, maintenance and warranty, with support by the Project Design Authority who reports at project level to PM. Support the preparation and validate the project Statement of Work (baseline): confirm the scope, contractual issues and validate risk assumptions. Establish the project structure including the project management organization and project team organization. Set-up the project team and assign project roles and responsibilities to individuals. Manage the project risks including contingency plans and risk mitigation. Assures correct application of Quality procedures. Creating and maintaining project documentation using internal process instructions and tools. Manage with the Employer and team all the activities related to Variations to Contractual Scope of Work. Ensure full adherence of assigned resources to corporate key-values, the Code of Ethics, regulations of Health, Security, Safety, Environment (HSE). Focus on anticipation, especially in risks and opportunities management. Oriented to the satisfaction of customer needs and to ensure the company's profitability. Location: Sesto Fiorentino
Work method: Hybrid (in-person + remote working)
Requisiti University Degree on Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunication or informatics) or with similar knowledge matured during the professional experience. Experience of at least 5 years in PM role. Certification PMI/PMP - IPMA project manager (or comparable) will be a plus. Sound knowledge of Italian language (mother tongue will be preferable). Sound knowledge of English language for daily interaction within international and multi-cultural contexts. Available to Business Missions on worldwide basis. Strong Leadership along with strong capacity to be also team-worker. Ability to influence stakeholders. High ability to manage team and resources not necessarily reporting hierarchically. Efficient organization and coordination of multiple and remotely located teams. Autonomous, entrepreneur and proactive attitude and behavior. At the same time very rigorous and committed. Self-discipline and be-an-example is also required. Oriented to the Business and able to understand and Manage the Business (besides the Project itself). Negotiation experience and strength in dealing with international customers. Strong motivation to work for targets.
