She/he will work closely with project team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope of work allocated, completing within the time, budget and cash targets, whilst optimizing the margin for the company.
She/he is also responsible for:Initiate a project: analyze Contract and specifications, arrange a Kick-Off meeting to start the job, ensuring resources, risks and opportunities are properly managed; develop a detailed overall project schedule (plan), updating it to reflect progress and to optimize work and resolve problems; use appropriate metrics (including financial) to track project performances; coordinate all activities for the allocated scope including engineering, planning, procurement, manufacturing logistics.Manage claims and change orders to/from customers and sub-suppliers during project execution; manage the relationship / communication with the client and all stakeholders; management of risks and opportunities by the implementation of appropriate action plans with the aim to minimize project risks and improve the project margin; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the company procedure processes; report and escalate to management as needed.ABOUT USNidec Conversion is a $600M Business Unit of Nidec Corporation, a $18 Billion+ global company, headquartered in Milan (Italy) and footprint in more than 10 countries.
