Our engineering, technical purchasing, and sales teams are located in our Plymouth, MI office fully supporting regional customers and providing local support for global projects.
The production facilities in Florence, KY and Queretaro, MX manufacture and administer products for North America.

Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for leading with a personal sense of ownership the cross-functional project team to define a new product platform, which includes derivation of system requirements based on market needs & customer specifications.
Manage complex projects and tasks by developing program timelines and activity reports to drive the on-time completion of critical tasks.
Managing open issues to closure (including quality, cost, timing, profit, internal & external customer satisfaction, etc.)
by identifying, prioritizing, communicating and executing aligned solutions.
Lead the efforts and activities with key stakeholders & Bosch Automotive Steering cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution from cross functional team and escalate issues as necessary
Responsible for organizing, leading and tracking activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering changes utilizing the Bosch change process to ensure project milestones are met.
Hold the team accountable to achieve project deliverables.
Support change management:
evaluation of change requests including product design change, tooling change, and process change for risk, cost, and timing implications.
Manage internal communication of project status (e.g.
Steering Committee meeting, Project Health Check meeting, Open Points List publication, Customer Projects Review), as required.
Meets with key stakeholders regionally and globally to ensure program / project objectives (cost, timing, quality, profit) are being met within designatedparameters.
Review specifications, drawings, requirements, etc.
to develop and prepare impact analysis against initial project premises & coordinate change points with applicable stakeholders.
Responsible for creating internal sample orders for products & services.
Maintain assigned program commercial parameters including (but not limited to) sales, releases, revenue, piece price, tooling, development costs, past due payments, open order investigations and customer satisfaction.
Manages data in customer portals and project folders.
Excited to take on a role with high visibility and exposure to all levels of internal and external management, that can lead to growth opportunities inside of Bosch.
Open to travel 5-10% of the time.
Qualifications Required qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business.
3+ years of previous experience in a project management, engineering, or sales role in the automotive industry.
Ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations.
Working flexible hours to accommodate International team meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience/expertise in mechanical engineering.
Experience working with automotive steering gears.
Previous project management, technical project management or lead engineer experience.
Excellent oral and written English language skills.
Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature.
Interpersonal skills to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional manner.
Moderate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook software.
Must be capable of learning other software packages (Ex:
SAP, SharePoint).
