As part of this mission, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Communication Project Manager to join our Project Management Office. This critical role will be at the heart of our transformation efforts, responsible for orchestrating and enhancing the communication framework that supports our ambitious objectives.
As a Communications Project Manager, you will orchestrate the strategic planning, development, and execution of comprehensive communication and content delivery initiatives within our IT transformation efforts. Your role encompasses engaging with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment of communication strategies with broader transformation goals, and managing the implementation of these strategies through various channels and platforms. Leveraging data, you will measure the effectiveness of communication efforts, adapting to insights and feedback to continuously refine our approach. Your leadership will ensure consistent messaging and alignment, while fostering an environment of open dialogue and stakeholder engagement. By staying at the forefront of communication trends and best practices, you will innovate and advocate for effective change management, playing a pivotal role in driving the success of our transformation projects.
Your Job
- Develop and implement a strategic content roadmap that aligns with the organization's overall objectives, ensuring that all communication and content delivery is purposeful, impactful, and timely
- Identify and engage key stakeholders across different levels of the organization, ensuring their needs and expectations are addressed in the communication strategy
- Develop and manage, with IT Leadership input, an overall communication plan for IT Transformation
- Collaborate with other program and project managers to develop effective communication strategies for each delivery
- Responsible for gathering and listening to community feedback and engaging with employees
- Coordinate with appropriate communication and change management leaders where needed
- Mitigate risks and escalate issues where appropriate
- Manage dependencies
- Hold contributors accountable for deliverables and content
- Act as a champion for change, using communication as a tool to help employees understand, accept, and embrace the changes
- Design and deliver training sessions and support materials for project teams and stakeholders on communication best practices, tools, and platforms used within programs and projects, ensuring effective and consistent communication across all channels
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans, ensuring readiness to manage and mitigate any communication challenges or reputational risks
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for communication effectiveness, including engagement metrics, feedback quality, and the impact of communication on project outcomes. Use insights from data to continuously refine and improve communication strategies
- Bachelors or equivalent
- 3 year's work experience in communications and/or project management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead multiple projects independently with a high degree of follow through
- Ability to quickly learn work styles of key stakeholders and how to efficiently engage with them
