PROJECT MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN
MISSION
- Provide assistance to the project management team, e.g.
for preparing Project Record Books, managing spare parts, collecting certifications, supplier payments, SAP data entry, with specific responsibilities especially during the close-out phase
TASKS
- Support in the review of tender documents for topics within own field of competence, e.g.
mechanical books, spare parts
- Support in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan for activities within own field of competence
- Support the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project Mobilisation Plan and follow up
- Ensure the coordination of activities relevant to the Project Record Books process, interacting with the other disciplines and the external organisations involved and interfacing the Client
- Ensure the preparation/issue of the required documents regarding Project Record Books
- Ensure the supervision and coordination of the procurement and management process for Two Years Spare Parts
- If requested, issue Purchase Requisitions and supervise technical evaluation issues, as far as Two Years Spare Parts are concerned
- If requested, after Procurement function and Project Manager authorization and in compliance with the applicable procurement procedures, issue Purchase Orders for Two Years Spare Parts (signed by position provided with suitable powers of attorney)
- If requested, support the Project Manager in managing and solving issues related to vendor payments and bank guarantees
- Support in coordinating the red marked and as-built document process
- If requested, support the Project Manager in using tools for managing purchase request/work order and related work progress (hours and costs) against external services
- If requested, support in the follow up of vendors with regard to specific material certificates, interacting with supplier, discipline and post order services
- Participate in the project feedback process
- If requested, support in invoicing activities
- Support the Project Manager and the Project Engineer in the execution of operations related to the contract close-out activities
- Follow up the project up to its end and ensure that all document Close Outs are in place upon project
completion
