**Honeywell** is looking for a **Project Manager **for our Industrial Fire (IFIR) division for **Arluno (Italy)**.
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage small to large jobs and to provide support and tasking direction to the internal operation team, external sub-contractors, and to keep relationship with the customer for the entire project lifetime.
Internal support and relationship with the customer will consist of basic administrative tasks, forecasting, planning, risk identification, change order, billing and payments.
Coordination with other members of the team for sharing external sub-contractors and internal operation and engineering resources.
To be a successful Project Manager you should have the ability to work with multiple projects and demonstrate excellent multitasking attitude. You should also have excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills.
**Key requirements**
- Attend KOM and periodical meetings with clients
- Directly interact with customer during job execution
- Purchasing of materials included in the scope of supply
- Interface with other internal functions to resolve contingent issues or define strategic processes (Production, Logistic, Warehouse and Project Engineering Team)
- Project team supports during FAT execution with customer
- Continuous improvement, cooperate to propose new processes in the project execution
- Overall responsibility for completing assigned projects "in time" and "in budget"
- Ensure on time delivery of projects, within scope with zero or positive deviation.
- Lead creation and maintenance of the project plan. Works with the customer's project management to coordinate major milestones and resolve schedule issues.
- Monitor the project processes to identify opportunities for improving the project financial results on the basis of project changes and emerging events
- Cost control and maximize productivity through the utilization of effective tools, processes and products.
- Ensure the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while participating in maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
- Escalates, and proactively addresses all stakeholders (including customer) in executing their role/tasks within project execution as per expected timeline.
- Ensure projects are resourced properly. Develop effective partnerships with external subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.
**Key skills and qualifications**
- At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead different stakeholders
- Client oriented
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Ability to understand the implications and assess the appropriate degree of acceptable risk and take actions to minimize risk
- Drive for Results - achieve results and improvement by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks and challenging current thinking.
- Engineering/management degree is a plus
- Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Decision making ability and supervision skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
