The Position As a Project Management Office Director at Novo Nordisk, you will play a key part of a major expansion project with high ramp-up focus and an international and complex stakeholder landscape.
The work will have a direct impact on future launches and delivery of our new products in Novo Nordisk to the benefit of our patients.
You will manage and deliver multiple projects within the department, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives in the expansion project.
You will prioritise and allocate resources based on project requirements and organisational priorities.
You will also monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
You will directly report to the Project Vice President.
Your main accountabilities will be: Manage and deliver multiple complex projects at a large expansion site, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives, p roviding guidance and support to project leaders and project managers, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards.
Collaborating with stakeholders to determine resource needs and requirements for projects.
Developing resource allocation plans to ensure optimal utilisation of resources as well as monitoring resource availability and workloads, making adjustments as needed to meet project demands.
Establishing and enforcing project governance frameworks and standards as well as conducting project audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with project management guidelines.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics related to project governance and project controls.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, we expect you to have minimum a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Adminstration or a related field.
Experience with CAPEX expansion projects is a must Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
Experience managing projects within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Fluency in English.
