About the Role: Kariera Group Recruitment Services is seeking a Project Instrumentation Control Engineer - Italy Offshore Brown Fields Upgrading to work on a contract basis for our client's project in Italy. The contract is for one year, with possible extension; the location can be Milan or La Spezia.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed, inspected, and installed in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Provide control, electrical, and instrumentation engineering support to the project team to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit for purpose. Review, supervise, and approve EPIC contractor control and instrumentation engineering content as required. Ensure that any 3rd party control, electrical, and instrumentation engineering contractors/suppliers adhere to the project technical specifications required. Requirements: Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Experience in offshore, brown fields upgrading is preferred. Experience in instrumentation and control systems detailed engineering design phase in Oil & Gas sector projects. Experience in designing control systems, sizing and selecting instruments, cables, etc. Prepare process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), systems/material specifications/POs, TDS, and IDS for instrumentation, electrical, and communication equipment. Evaluate safety system design and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure reliable integration with process control systems.
