Work type Full Time Reference ICE-639798 Location Lastra a Signa, Italy Overview The Role: Project & Field Supervisor Engineer The Project & Field Supervisor Engineer is responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve, including scheduling, planning, document control and preparation, forecasting, resource management, and overseeing all technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion in a timely manner.
Additionally, the role entails inspection, repair, and commissioning of HIPPS (instrumentation, control, and mechanical) at sub-vendor workshops and customer sites when necessary.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
Monitor compliance with applicable international codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Prepare project documentation (e.g., schematics, procedures, narratives, etc.).
Control project documentation received from suppliers.
Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and represent them in the field.
Lead suppliers to ensure compliance with customer and project requirements.
Perform overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report regularly on project status.
Develop software for the control system used in the project.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with all project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Attend necessary meetings at customer locations and supplier workshops.
Supervise and lead required tests at sub-supplier workshops and customer sites.
Disassemble, inspect, document, repair, install, and calibrate CCI products.
Monitor installation, commissioning, and storage regulations for CCI products.
Conduct daily risk analysis of the workplace, including logging.
Report unusual cases of damage to the relevant departments.
Document working hours, spare parts, and labor.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance and address valve/fitting issues.
Ensure compliance with working time rules.
