Project Engineer - Project Manager

The Context

Our client is a prestigious international company specializing in the design and production of machinery for the process industry, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical segment. Due to significant growth, they have commissioned us to search for a Project Engineer - Project Manager.

The Role
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Conducting and mediating with clients throughout the project duration, including tests (FAT & SAT) and plant validation (DQ, IQ, OQ, CAL, PQ).
Planning the order processing time.
Evaluating project progress.
Managing, mediating, and resolving conflicts with clients.
Controlling and managing costs.
Overseeing purchase specifications.
Ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
Interfacing with the site representative and follow-up.
Supervising commissioning and startup follow-up.
Organizing and preparing site documentation.
Supporting the group's after-sales commercial activities. Requirements
Degree in engineering or technical diploma.
2 - 5 years of experience in plant engineering/engineering solutions companies operating in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Pharma & API, Food, Chemical, or Automotive, or alternatively within engineering departments of end-user companies.
Proactive and enterprising approach.
Team builder.
Cost-conscious.
Proficient in internal and external negotiation techniques.
Pragmatic and with high integrity.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel (maximum 30 days per year). Location/Workplace: Milan (2 days of Smartworking per week)
