We are currently looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER who will be responsible for: Participation in internal project kick-off meetings to acquire contractual technical information for project development; Review and application of client-side project technical specifications and applicable internal standards; Coordination of mechanical design of plants related to O&G and Ecology applications interfacing with internal specialists (electro-instrumental technicians) and external suppliers (structural engineers, piping specialists, and mechanical designers); Principal interface for project engineering with all internal company functions providing technical guidance in interpreting project technical requirements; Execution of detailed engineering according to programming and project milestones, including: Creation and mechanization of the Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) of the project; Coordination and preparation of main project documents including plant layout drawings, metal structure drawings, piping support drawings, isometrics, and other construction drawings from first issuance to final approval by the client; Reviewing project progress by checking and monitoring the 3D plant and its main components/packages; Preparation of Material Requisitions; Review of construction drawings for fabrication in-house and/or at external suppliers (ISOS, structural fabrication drawings); Definition of the Bill Of Material (BOM) for the plant with related coding and entry into the company's management system; Management and quality control of the engineering activities of the contract through the application of checklists and internal reviews of the executed activities; Participation in internal briefings related to assigned projects, interfacing with various departments involved: electro-instrumental team, project manager, purchasing office, and workshop; Participation in technical alignment meetings with clients and/or support in preparing offers for the dedicated office; Direct contact with suppliers for the definition and selection of the main plant components (fans, steam boilers, silencers, SCR packages, scrubbers, quencher, etc.
); Management of external engineering suppliers both local and international partners (LC Engineering Center); Preparation of AS BUILT at project completion by processing feedback received from the workshop or site contributing to continuous improvement of company processes; Management of non-conformities related to engineering with direct contribution to preparing corrective actions for the benefit of the entire team.
You are the ideal candidate if you possess the following requirements: Master's degree or bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, chemical, energy, or industrial); Previous experience in the O&G sector and in the role of PE for at least 5 years; Ability to work independently and also in a team; Ability to work on multi-tasking while maintaining maximum punctuality in deliveries; Ability for analysis and problem solving; Ability to understand technical documentation: construction drawings, plant schemas, layouts; Knowledge of one or more visualization software, plant model navigation in 3D; Knowledge of 2D CAD programs (Autocad); Good knowledge of the office package, particularly Excel; Good command of English in writing and speaking.
