He/she will also support development of project engineering contributing to pressure and rotating equipment design and selection.
Project Engineer daily interacts and collaborates with team members, other Site departments, contractors.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCoordinates construction activities of different internal disciplines, coordinate activities assigned to contractors, ensure that implementation is carried out in accordance with legal requirements and corporate engineering standards.Provides, in line with the directives received and company policies and procedures, verification of the engineering, implementation of projects and construction activities in compliance with schedules, costs and technical contents foreseen.Defines the technical specifications of pressure and rotating equipment and is responsible for purchasing process.Provides technical input, ensuring the coordination between maintenance and investment activities.Manages contracts (technical part) and controls the activities of contractors through resource planning, correct interpretation and application of contracts and the accounting of related services.Supports different department documentation and releases reports (Operating Instructions, Review Report, Failure Analysis etc.
)Managing the control and inspection system of lines/equipment according to site procedures and legal requirements (PED, piping class)Participate in corporate technical networksPromotes ethical behaviour, advancing DEI and in line with company code of conduct.Min.
QualificationsEducation: Master's degree in Mechanical or Materials EngineeringWork Experience: Minimum 2 years as a project or maintenance engineer, with relevant experience in the refining, petrochemical or chemical process industries.Languages:• Italian native speaker.
