Eurochiller is now looking for a new Project Engineer - Electrical Design based in the Italian Site in Castello D'Agogna – PV.
Job Description
In this role, you are a team member acting as project electrical engineer inside of chiller projects from concept to production.
You will report the overview and status of the projects to the product development team.
Your most important responsibilities are:
Supporting the projects by bringing together and analyzing the input for the different technical aspects. Designing and developing electrical systems, including circuits, wiring diagrams, and components, for various projects. Creating detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using industry-standard software. Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into new products or systems. Participating in product development from concept to production, including prototyping and testing. Identifying and selecting appropriate components and materials for electrical designs. Conducting testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure functionality and performance. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, making design modifications as needed. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical designs and changes. Preparing technical reports, specifications, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Creating Bill of Materials (BOM) and providing support for procurement and manufacturing processes. Evaluating and analyzing the cost of electrical components and systems. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggesting design optimizations. Ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints. Ensuring that all electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure compliance. Participating in design reviews and risk assessments. Supporting production & service in case of problems with controls or electrical design. Taking initiative and cooperating on continuous improvement of the new product development and the engineering process in general. Experience Requirements Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or minimum technician degree with comparable, sound work experience in electrical engineering. A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn and improve. Experience in PLC controls is a plus. Experience in an R&D environment is a plus. Experience with chiller technology is a plus. Knowledge Fluent in English. Good command of Italian. A good general technical knowledge. PLC programming background.
