Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Director - Site Improvement to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting site improvement projects to ensure timely completion and prioritization against business needs.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and complex projects, with a proven track record of success in similar roles. A minimum of 4 years' experience in the industry is required, as well as excellent leadership skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete project life cycle, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout. You will also provide guidance on program and project management policies and processes, collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.Key responsibilities include:Leading the site project portfolio management process.Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.Planning programs and project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.Creating and maintaining process workflow documents to support business needs.You will also be responsible for acting as a single point of contact for project/program status, maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective implementation of solutions/changes.Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
