Project Director – Construction, Milan

Linum Consult's client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Project Director to join their team on a manufacturing facility construction project in Milan. RESPONSIBILITIES Based on site, you will be managing the main contractors, sub-contractors, designers and cost consultancies.Leading the project management team to ensure that the project cycle is completed and meets the agreed standards and objectivesCarrying out portfolio cost control and forecast reporting, estimating project budget approval reviews, and conducting costed risk managementCreating an organisation structure to optimise the most efficient use of resourcesPreparing the budget for your department, and monitoring the financial performance of the project; rectifying any problems that ariseCarrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all works are carried out to high standards, deadlines and budgets.Recommending improvements to departmental policies and proceduresPROFILE Degree qualified in Construction or EngineeringMEP experience in the construction of large-scale industrial facilitiesStrong leadership and communication skillsFluent in spoken and written Italian and EnglishA history of working for main contractorsThe right to live and work in the EUAPPLICATION PROCESS If you fulfil the minimum requirements stipulated by our client and are confidentially interested in applying, then please drop Linum Consult a line with a copy of your CV and contact details to ****** for the attention of Kiva Donald.
