Develop an extensive range and type (in terms of capacity MWp) of projects from a pure Greenfield stage until Ready-to-Build stage and/or review opportunities for acquisition in a mid to late-stage development status – RTB. Evaluate Renewable Energy projects in order to determine whether it is appropriate to invest in the projects from both a technical and business perspective. Follow-up development, origination, and day-to-day activities. Ensure the performance of the permitting control over the projects SPVs during Development, Construction, and asset operation. Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Business Development and Management teams. Provide all departments with the necessary information to enable them to carry out their assigned responsibilities. Maintain good business relationships with all third parties involved. Support all company departments in the forecasting and control of the project's approved budgets. Identify risks and opportunities, understanding base investment assumptions of the company. Extensive involvement in the preparation of investment committee presentations and documents to enable their approval/analysis. Forecast and analyze permitting implications of the existing and prospective legal, technical, and environmental issues, and recommend corrective actions and the way forward. Analyze all the variations and prepare findings reports, recommending corrective actions. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Environmental, Industrial) Languages: Italian (MT), English fluent (B2/C1), Spanish (Highly valuable) Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience in the renewable energy business in Italy, focused on Solar PV assets (origination & project development) within the renewable energy industry. Extensive knowledge and experience of the administrative processing/ permitting of renewable solar energy projects. Essential to have a solid network of Institutional Relations and a variety of connections within the administrations (local and central), demonstrating the ability to solve and unlock permitting issues, requests, and process success. Demonstrated experience and capability to influence the direction of brand impact within the region, including by identifying and accessing the most effective channels. Experienced in Greenfield project origination and lead/monitor third-party service providers, including complex contracts such as Project Development Agreements, Development Service Agreements, MOU's, LOI's, etc. The candidate will need in-depth knowledge about Italy's energy and/or real estate market as well as practical experience in managing the specifics of national planning and grid connection procedures and formalities.
