Our client is recruiting a Project Development Manager to support the Senior Project Manager to oversee all areas of project development for utility scale Solar opportunities in Italy, including managing and optimizing the development of multiple projects (greenfield and/or already partially developed) into a fully developed project with the aim to achieve the Ready to Build status within agreed timeline and budget. Responsibilities:
Under supervision of a Senior Project Manager, manages the project to secure good quality within budget and time plan; Controls and reports risks throughout the project in order to act proactive and secure a project that is constructible and attractive to the market; Manages external consultants and lawyers; Secure relevant permits for the project (Environmental Permit, Building Permit etc.) until achievement of Ready to Build status; Secures Grid Conditions and a Grid Connection Agreement with the connecting utility; Secures land access together with the Land Manager in the project team; Stakeholder Management – establish good relationship with concerned stakeholders such as Municipality, County Administrative Board, Authorities, local associations, residents, and landowners; Takes part to Due Diligence for development related matters during an acquiring process; Be up to date with relevant legislation; Be up to date with the market in general and specially any surrounding projects to your projects; Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience working as a Project Manager in renewable energy sector; Minimum a bachelor's degree, most likely in engineering, environmental science/law or any other related area; Team player with a delivery-oriented mindset that can handle parallel workstreams while managing budget and time plan; An adoptable mindset, good problem-solving ability, and ability to build relationships due to ever changing conditions and the need to communicate with a variety of stakeholders; Fluent in Italian and in English; Good skills with the MS Office package in general.
