Description An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cubico Sustainable Investments in Italy as Project Developer. The Project Developer will join a growing Italian development team with an aim to expand the portfolio of renewable energy projects under development across wind, solar photovoltaic and new technology as storage. You will be joining an international, growing and long-term asset owner, working in close collaboration with central support functions based in London.
Key Responsibilities Support development team with > 1 GW pipeline of projects under development.Monitor projects regularly to check progress, quality, deadlines and any events that might cause a delay in project completion, supporting the dedicated development manager assigned to the project.Develop and implement procedures for an effective data management system, which can collect project documents and main information, create rules and procedures for data sharing and manage all incoming data files.Identify project risks and prepare risk mitigation measures in cooperation with development manager.Manage TSO portal and all the documentation needed in cooperation with internal team and TSO.Implement reports and presentations of development in cooperation with finance and development team.Develop, manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the projects under feasibility phase.Analyze new project opportunities in feasibility stage together with internal engineering and performance team in order to select best projects to take into development stage.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise The Successful Candidate Will Need Possess The Following Degree in engineering, economics or similar technical form accredited university.At least 1-3 years' experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Italy (highly desirable).Project management skills.Good understanding of the utility's regulatory environment and renewable business.Self-direct with ability to work well with international team, including engineering, performance, project management.Strong planning and organizational skills, accuracy, including setting priorities.Proactive and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and high standards.English upper intermediate level.Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico), a London-headquartered firm, is one of the world's leaders in providing renewable energy across the Americas and Europe.
