TGRC is seeking a highly motivated Project Design Specialist to contribute to our innovative and sustainable initiatives.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the design and development of projects within the renewable space, supporting our mission to advance clean energy solutions.
Company Overview: TGRC has partnered with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Italy with a strong reputation for developing, financing, constructing, and managing projects within the renewable energy sector.
The client is searching for a candidate with a background in engineering (+- 3 years) with companies that operate within the energy generation field.
Key Responsibilities: Preliminary plant design for development activities.
In addition, revamping of obsolete or under-performing plants.
Supervision of the portfolios of renewable energy plants on different technologies.
System technical design and component sizing.
Interface with the competent authorities for PV plants (GSE, grid operator, local authorities, etc.).
Additionally, verification of specialized analyses and assessments.
Furthermore, independent execution of technical due diligence.
Stay informed about local and international regulations of renewable energy project design.
Ensure that project designs adhere to all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.
Management of contracts with maintenance operators and suppliers.
Utilize your expertise to contribute innovative design solutions that enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
Lastly, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements: Master's Degree in engineering (preferably electrical, energy or mechanical) alternatively, a degree in Environmental Science if supported by solid field experience.
+3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector (Solar in particular).
Experience with AutoCAD (PVSYST and PVCase is a plus).
Experience in plant management and construction site activities.
Fluent in English Lastly, Knowledge of regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects in Italy.
