Constuction Department Responsible for project execution from Contract Signature untill the Project Take Over / Hand Over to Service
**Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Construction Director, the profile is expected to:
- Coordinate and supervise fulfilment of safety and environment procedures related to projects, from awareness to auditing process in order to guarantee service level agreements and compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Secure customer relationship, key to increased customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization towards customers and subcontractors
- Ensure the key goals for each project including profitability, cash flow and time.
- Develop and monitor projects time plans as well as establish action and recovery plans to ensure compliance with internal targets and customer/ contract expectations.
- Guarantee the right reporting and forecasting of time progress and financial performance of each project with transparency, reliability, and accuracy.
- Strive for improving on-time and even early completion of the projects to maximize customer satisfaction and financials.
- Perform Risk and Opportunities management within the projects, including strategies, action plans and follow-up.
- Ensure the establishment of the project execution vision & strategy, based on the contract, in order to achieve the project performance goals.
- Make sure that a contract management plan is defined and implemented on project level, as well as a project quality plan, guaranteeing that both customer and Vestas obligations are fulfilled.
- Implement Vestas project management and site installation processes and procedures.
- Seek for continuous improvement by proposing relevant methods and tools.
- Supervise and coach the project and site installation team
- Participate actively in developing the procurement strategy of projects, selection and assessment of suppliers and ensure sub contracts' compliance with projects requirements and contract/ customer expectations
- Provide support in the tendering phase by delivering support to the Bid Management (input to pre-calculations, scope & risk assessments, sites organization, negotiations, etc...)
**Qualifications**
- They will have at least 4 years of experience in project management and construction, preferably acquired in the wind industry or in the energy sector.
- Preferably owner of an Engineering degree.
Master in Project Management and/or MBA will be also welcomed.
- Experience in installation and EPC contracts
- Financial and contract management skills.
- Team & people management.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
Other languages would be an additional advantage.
