Project Buyer

Our client:
Their mission is to develop sustainably the best battery materials and cells that will make possible the mass deployment of electric transportation, stationary energy storage and advanced portable devices.

Their proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialize safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics.

Start date and working mode: ASAP, hybrid

Required education:

- Technical / Superior Engineering Degree
- Financial / Cost control training is a plus
- English mandatory, Spanish, French or German a plus.
- MS Excel and SAP expertise.

Experience: 5 years of experiences as buyer in the industrial sector at worldwide level. Knowledge of Supply chain and experience working on Asian markets is a plus.

Job Description:

The Project Buyer will join the Purchasing team reporting to the Head of Purchasing and giving support on:

- To search for and evaluate tentative candidates suppliers.
- To lead RFQ, analyse and evaluate suppliers offers, negotiate the terms & conditions and propose best Quality/Cost/Timing option compatible with project budget/planning.
- To develop sustainable, win-win relations with suppliers, securing purchasing operations with transparency and trust.
- To continuously monitor selected suppliers, reacting to deviations and supporting panel management.
