Your New Role… The Programmatic Specialist will support the programmatic and commercial team in managing Discovery Media's programmatic operations.
You will be responsible for the setting up and monitoring of campaigns, performance analysis and will assist the sales team in the promotion and sale of programmatic advertising spaces for Warner Bros.
Discovery.
In this role, you will also participate in internal and external training sessions to improve your knowledge of SSP platforms and programmatic market dynamics and monitor industry trends to help innovate and develop our programmatic strategies.
Your Role Accountabilities… Support to the Management of Programmatic Campaigns Assistance in setting up and managing programmatic campaigns using SSP platforms Daily campaign monitoring to ensure compliance with established KPIs (e.g.
CPM, viewability, fill rate) Collaboration with the Programmatic Manager to optimize campaigns based on performance and customer needs.
Commercial & Sales Support Support sales team in creation of commercial proposals for advertising spaces in programmatic mode.
Preparation of sales collateral to promote programmatic offering to media agencies, trading desks and direct clients.
Participation in customer and agency meetings to explain benefits and functionalities of programmatic solutions.
Analytics and Reporting Campaign data collection and analysis using analytics tools (e.g., Google Ad Manager, SSP Dashboard).
Creation of weekly and monthly reports on campaign performance for the sales teams.
Identifying trends and baseline insights to suggest improvements and optimization opportunities.
Collaboration with Partners and Suppliers Assistance in managing relationships with technology partners and data providers.
Coordination with the sales team and external partners to ensure successful execution of campaigns.
Support in solving technical or operational issues related to programmatic platforms.
Operational Support Assistance in managing creative assets and preparing them for campaigns.
Collaboration on setting up tracking and targeting tools for programmatic campaigns.
Monitoring quality of advertising spaces and reporting any problems to the Programmatic Manager.
Qualifications & Experience… Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in the digital advertising industry, preferably with a focus on programmatic buying/selling or digital sales.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SSP platforms (e.g.
Google Ad Manager, Xandr) and analysis tools; good knowledge of Excel.
Analytical and Commercial Skills: Ability to read campaign data and support the sales team with analysis and insights.
Languages: Excellent knowledge of Italian and English.
Market Knowledge: Interest in the digital advertising industry and programmatic market dynamics.
