Telespazio is looking for a Program Officer to join TV & Radio Business Area / Sales and Delivery department in Rome (Italy). The TV & Radio business area is responsible for defining commercial plans, ensuring the achievement of order intake targets, managing relationships with customers, and ensuring project delivery in compliance with contractual requirements and expected timelines. This includes maximizing customer satisfaction, preparing offers and contracts documentation, collecting expected costs, guaranteeing product/service development and technical design, and managing the development of new products/services.
The selected candidate will oversee a set of projects within the TV business area, analyze the cumulative value of each project, and ensure that project objectives align with expectations.
The selected candidate will:
Provide project support by working cooperatively with Project Managers and other team members to achieve project success. Monitor project implementation and delivery, requiring administrative and technological skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Task & Accountabilities
Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Development and management of detailed project schedules and work plans (i.e., GANTT), project progress monitoring, resource allocation, and task assignment. Execute and control project activities, being accountable for relevant cost and schedule KPIs (EBIT/Revenues); support yearly budget preparation. Provide periodic reporting to upper management. Conduct business analysis activities. Manage budgets and control costs. Draft analysis documents. Plan project initiatives involving internal bodies and external suppliers. Monitor, extract data, and plan activities in SAP. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experiences:
Experience of at least 1 year as a Program Officer. Demonstrated knowledge of project life cycle phases. Technical knowledge of core TV Services. Core Competencies, Knowledge:
Experience using program management tools. Excellent knowledge of the Windows environment, Office suite applications, and SAP. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Team-oriented and performance-driven. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work towards objectives. Good time management. Punctuality in task execution and respecting long-term objectives.
