Program Analyst

You will serve as a MDA Program Manager in the N52 Africa Campaign Integration Directorate of COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA.This position facilitates continued development of Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and information sharing capabilities that support NAVAF engagement and operations.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Utilizing knowledge of maritime concepts including maritime domain awareness (MDA), maritime sector development, Maritime Safety and Security Information Systems (MSSIS), and international military partnerships, operational planning and warfare in the maritime domain across not only U.S. forces, but with international militaries, private sector, interagency, and non-governmental partners; Utilizing various maritime programs in the AFRICOM or NAVAF area of responsibility, which includes all of the coastal nations of Africa except Egypt; Utilizing information systems such as SeaVision; Executing program management for funding programs with resource constraints; Communicating at all levels of leadership and staff, both oral and written, negotiating solutions and networking to meet command objectives; Planning and executing international maritime exercises, such as the EXPRESS series of exercises in Africa; Conducting combinedactivities with partners, such as Africa Partnership Station; Planning and executing operations, activities and investments with African and European partners.Note: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.The employee must be deployable.
As situations warrant, employee will be required to perform duties while deployed at sea or remote work locations to support various exercise/operations.
Travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments may be required.
