Applynow for the position of Professional Buyer within the Italian StrategicProcurement organization, working for both in-Vivo and in-Vitro business,reporting to the Procurement Leader Italy.
TheProfessional Buyer is responsible for steering the Procurement process relatedto internal customer requests.
He/she is responsible for the management,optimization and follow-up of purchasing documentation managed by thepurchasing department.Your role:You will collaborate with the Procurement team under the directionof the Procurement Leader Italy to optimize processes, create and maintainproductivity, and pursue sustained cost optimization.
Contribute to developingspecifications, manage the call for tenders, and conduct negotiations to securethe best deals.You will maintain and develop partnerships with preferentialsuppliers, scout for potential suppliers, and identify new partners forsustainable and profitable relationships.
Analyze commercial offers, prepareand conduct negotiations, and manage contracting with selected suppliers.You will interface with Cross-Functional Teams to develop andimplement purchasing strategies, as well as manage strategic purchasingprojects (both direct and indirect) involving local stakeholders.You will align purchasing strategies with corporate objectives bycollaborating with Procurement colleagues in other countries and commoditymanagers at HQ.
Handle escalated complaints and disputes and ensure compliancewith negotiated contractual conditions and legal frameworks.You will secure contracts with main suppliers, approve purchaseorders, renew and update contracts, and generate cost savings or optimizationmeasures.You will manage the procurement process from supplier selection tocontracting, ensuring proper implementation.
Evaluate suppliers with thequality department, address insufficient evaluations, and ensure compliance ofsuppliers.Your expertise:You arecurrently working in a complex organization in a Procurement role, with atleast 3+ years of experience in supplier relationship management, negotiation,contract management, and data analytics (experience in healthcare or similarsectors is considered a plus).You areequipped with excellent interpersonal skills and are not afraid to interactwith colleagues or external parties, making you an excellent negotiator,capable of managing relational and contractual aspects with involved parties.You areproficient in using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and you also haveexperience with ERP systems like SAP.
Additionally, knowledge of Power Apps andPower Automate is considered a plus.You aredetail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and can analyze and synthesizedata to make it accessible and easily usable.You arefluent in both written and spoken Italian and English.You have anacademic background in Procurement, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Law andare open to change, resilient, and eager to learn.Who we are: We are a team of more than 71,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70countries.
