Come and join Eppendorf Italy as a Professional Accountant Your challenges This role is part of the local Italian Administrative team of Eppendorf Italy, and reports to the Managing Director of Eppendorf Italy. The Professional Accountant executes the local administrative tasks and works in close coordination with the Shared Service center (SSC) in Germany. The Professional Accountant has the following main responsibilities: Coordinate with the SSC to fulfill local financial and administrative requirements Work in cooperation with the local stakeholders and departments, to ensure the completion of accounting and fiscal duties of the Italian Affiliate Ensure the execution of the below-listed local operative detailed tasks: Check the AMM and the PEC inbox: both inbox receive administrative authorities communication with specific financial and fiscal duties and deadlines (on daily basis) Invoice Management Management of the WHT (Withholding Taxes) Agents' Administrative Management (monthly) Travel Expenses (TE) management Manage the VAT Register (on a monthly basis) Provide F24 forms to SSC, VAT, CIT, Prepayments, WHT Salaries, F24 payments including credit via website Provide posting for salaries to SSC Manage monthly accruals to be allocated and registered (example: the annual bonus for the Agents, missing invoices, prepaid expenses) Support monthly closing, reporting and budget Maintaining follow-up on payback by regions, related VAT and utilization of accruals Tasks to be rolled-out once a year: Print the Posting Journal Calculation of re-invoicing building costs Prepare the CarsLiabilities Reporting IFRS (HQ) Collaborate with EY and SSC Europe for reporting: follow-up on any request for documents and reports Collaborate with PWC and SSC Europe for taxes Communication on local Regulations & Requirements (Payback, special depreciation, …) Preparation of recurring entries by the beginning of the year Support with CIT VAT declaration (documents, request, signature, ) Audit support for local audit as well as IFRS audit in Germany Sindaco Your profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position Proficient in MS Excel and Word Working experience with SAP; ability to work with Power BI is a plus Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations Exceptional organizational and time management skills Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments Fluent in Italian and working proficiency in English Your benefits at Eppendorf: By working for us you will make a meaningful contribution to improving human living conditions.
