As part of our dynamic team, your main goal will be to ensure that our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations, while also adhering to rigorous production standards and regulatory requirements.
We're seeking someone with a strong background in quality management, especially in the realm of power electronics, who can bring fresh insights and innovative approaches to the table.
Located at our cutting-edge facility in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo), Italy, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the world of e-mobility.
If you're ready to dive in, lead a team, and drive quality objectives forward, we want to hear from you!Our target salary for this role ranges from 55'000 – 70'000 EUR per year plus additional bonus and benefits.Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role your main accountabilities will be:Foster the culture of zero defect, continuous improvement and quality consciousness within the production teamDevelop, implement, and manage quality control plan and processes for production operationsDefine, implement and manage test protocols to ensure full test coverageConduct regular inspections and product line audits to verify adherence to quality standards at each stage of the production processLead and motivate a team of quality engineers (including functional coordination of resources allocated in North America)Provide guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to quality protocolsCollaborate with production managers and leaders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product qualityWork closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely mannerAnalyze production data and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvementGenerate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators related to product quality including cost of poor qualityProvide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practicesEnsure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certificationsOur Ideal Candidate Will HaveBachelor or Master Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering: a solid educational foundation in electronic or electrical engineering will provide the framework for success in this roleProven Track Record in Quality Management: we're looking for someone with a history of success in quality management, particularly in the realm of production processes.

With over five years of experience in a similar role, you've honed your skills and are ready to take on new challengesAbility to Thrive in an Interdisciplinary Environment: innovation thrives when different perspectives come together.
We're seeking someone who can collaborate effectively across disciplines and contribute to sustainable solutionsExceptional Communication Skills: whether it's crafting detailed reports or leading a team meeting, your communication skills are top-notch.
Fluency in both written and verbal English and Italian is essential for success in this roleOutstanding Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: when it comes to tackling complex issues, you're the go-to person.
Your ability to analyze data and devise effective solutions sets you apart from the restIn-Depth Knowledge of Quality Control Processes: you're well-versed in quality control processes and methodologies.
Your expertise ensures that our products meet or exceed industry standards every step of the wayDesired QualificationsStrong Familiarity with ISO-9001 Standards: while not mandatory, a solid understanding of ISO-9001 standards is preferred.
Expertise in QS-9000/ISO TS 16949/IATF 16949 will also be considered advantageousCertifications in Quality Management: do you hold certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma or ASQ?
These certifications demonstrate your commitment to excellence and continuous improvementFamiliarity with Manufacturing and Production Environments: experience in manufacturing and production environments within the power electronics business or automotive industry is a plus.
