A Day in the Life of a Production Planner Develop, maintain, and improve a Production Plan at SKU level on a weekly basis for a portfolio of products, representing the most optimized plan considering factory constraints, costs, and customer demand.Validate and challenge volumes for new launches, validating feasibility considering MOQ and timing.Focus on shelf life of products to mitigate risks of bad goods.Communicate with Factory Supply Chain to react to important changes or promotions impacting the short-term period.Challenge Factory Supply Chain to improve lot sizes and line efficiency.Challenge Demand Planners to improve Demand Planning Accuracy.Establish the production plan to ensure Customer Service and satisfy customer needs considering the network complexity and supply constraints.Balance the need for product availability versus minimizing inventory costs to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.Analyze exceptions, make business decisions within agreed Framework (based on priorities or after arbitration and product allocation), and adjust planning results accordingly. Establish production requirements for short and long term and follow up on production plans.Establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods.Ensure proper Master Data settings and Event Management related SNP visibility (launches, re-launches, discontinuations).What Will Make You Successful?
