For the manufacturing plant in Origgio (VA, 30 km from Milan), we are looking for the position of Production Planner.

What the job looks like:
• Work with cross-functional teams and central planning teams such as SNPs to identify, plan for, and resolve inconsistencies between demand and capacity;
• Define Production schedules that meet demand and maximize resource utilization;
• Optimize and integrate the sequence of proposed productions on plants so as to achieve the best results in terms of efficiency and quality;
• Follow the progress of Production schedules, coordinating the timelines of the various departments (QC, Production, Engineering and QA) and taking appropriate corrective actions in case of deviations in terms of time and quantity and report particular critical feasibility/availability situations;
• Coordinate the activities of creating and issuing the necessary documentation for production execution;
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning and other site initiatives;
• Manage Master Data (planning parameters);
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams dedicated to specific projects.
What you'll bring to the table:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering management or business administration or science;
• Previous experience in managing production planning activities (at least 3 years);
• Excellent command of the written and spoken English language;
• Experience in centralized planning processes and integrated planning across multiple production sites;
• Experience in identifying and implementing SCM best practices and industry standards;
• Excellent knowledge of major computer tools (Office package: Word, Excel, PPT) - advanced Excel;
• Knowledge of SAP ERP management system;
• Knowledge of MRP, KANBAN procurement logics;
• Relational skills and propensity to work in cross-functional teams;
• Proactivity, resourcefulness and results orientation;
• Experience in OPEX improvement projects;
• APICS/ISM (CPSM/CSCP) Supply Chain certification preferred.
