Production Planner

With our main local brands FIP, REDI, ASTORE, ISEA and LARETER, we make products for the building, infrastructure, industry, and agriculture sectors.We offer a role as Production Planner, who will report to the Production Planning Coordinator of Casella and Fiesso Umbertiano plants, and will be based in our site in Casella (GE).
For the initial phase, the position is fixed term.
This figure will be responsible for organizing production according to demand and quality standards, ensuring that goods are produced in time for distribution and in a profitable manner; with the aim of ensuring a smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate production workflow for one or multiple productsPlan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delayDetermine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demandAssign workers and other staff to particular production operationsSchedule shifts according to production needsMonitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budgetAddress issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruptionObtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.
)Prepare and submit status and performance reportsKeep paperwork organizedCollaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staffOptimization of production proceduresRequired CompetenciesProven experience as production plannerExcellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principlesExperience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning) will be considered a plusWorking knowledge of MS Office and ERP systemsGood at math and statisticsStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication abilitiesHigh school diploma: Further education or certification is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
