Your responsibilities and tasks: Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. Manage and optimize inventory levels, monitoring stock and planning supplies. Implement warehouse management procedures to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Coordinate the warehouse team, ensuring training and professional development of team members. Collaborate with production and purchasing departments to ensure a continuous flow of materials. Utilize warehouse management software to monitor operations and generate performance reports. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the warehouse. Manage relationships with suppliers and monitor service performance. Your profile and qualifications: High school diploma with a technical-scientific address; University degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing or Management; Seasoned professional with at least 4 years of experience in running a team with a strong focus on integration of processes and improving cost and performance efficiency; Deep practical know-how of state-of-the-art process organization methods and improvement tools; In-depth understanding of the strategic role planning and warehouse play within a manufacturing organization; SAP experience preferred; Profound leadership skills, ability to lead & develop internationally and/or culturally diverse teams, systematically evaluate team performance; Personal drive and a good balance between being a hands-on manager and the ability to think and act strategically; Intercultural experience and skills; Ability of influencing the team and all parts of the organization by power of persuasion, conviction and as well as by well-argued reasoning; Strong communicator, good net-worker and a well-respected executive.
